This spring, we will travel to a land not only revered for its unyielding Tsars, strong vodka and heavenly caviar,  but also-  and perhaps most importantly-  its magnificent and unparalleled ballet tradition. This April, the Young Patrons Circle is warmly invited to travel to the gorgeous city of St. Petersburg, Russia, where the Dutch National Ballet will perform its enigmatic Made in Amsterdam at the annual Dance Open Festival in the grand Alexandrinsky Theatre.

Dance Open Ballet Festival
The festival started as a series of masterclasses by the leading teachers of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet for talented ballet students of various nationalities. Today, it is among the largest, most prestigious ballet forums in the world! Over seven consecutive nights, a selection of the best ballet companies from around the world will showcase glimpses into their repertoire on the grand stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre. Together with the DNB, Les Ballets des Monte-Carlo and Le Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève will participate, among many fine others. Furthermore, masterclasses will be given to young and upcoming dancers. They will perform at a final Gala performance attended by professionals from all over the world looking for the next generation of stars.
